General
The Efteling Gift Card is a prepaid card issued by Efteling B.V., located at Europalaan 1 in Kaatsheuvel, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 18122297. The Efteling Gift Card can be used as a payment method at Efteling, both in person and online. Excluded ticket types and locations are listed on efteling.com/cadeaukaart. Dutch law applies to all matters arising from or related to the use and content of this website or the use of the Efteling Gift Card. These terms and conditions apply to the purchase and use of the Efteling Gift Card, both physical and digital. By using the gift card, you agree to these terms.

Validity, Balance and Payment
Each Efteling Gift Card has a value between €5 and €150. The card is valid for 3 years from the activation date. You can use the card multiple times until the balance is fully spent. You can always check the remaining balance and expiry date on the Efteling website via the balance checker. The card must be used in full before the expiry date. After the expiry date, no refund will be given and any remaining value will be forfeited. The card cannot be exchanged for cash and does not earn interest. Any remaining value is also non-refundable. You cannot use your gift card to purchase a new gift card.

Efteling reserves the right to block the unique code in case of non-payment or misuse, which will irreversibly cancel the card’s value. Prices are in euros and exclude shipping costs. Payment can be made in cash, by debit or credit card. Online orders are paid through secure systems. At physical exchange points, payment can be made by debit card, credit card (VISA or Mastercard), or cash. An order is only considered final after payment is received, at which point delivery will begin.

Delivery and Shipping via Efteling.com
When ordering via Efteling.com, you can choose:

• A physical gift card by post. Orders placed before 15:00 on working days are shipped the same day. The cards are shipped inactive; you'll receive an activation code by email to activate them on efteling.com. Orders placed during weekends or public holidays are shipped the next business day. Shipping is handled by third parties, and Efteling is not liable for delays, loss or damage during shipping. Shipping fees apply per order and are listed on the website. Efteling may adjust these fees if their carrier raises prices.
• A digital gift card via email. These are sent instantly. You’ll receive a confirmation email with an order number, which you should reference in any correspondence.

You must enter all required details correctly when placing an order. Efteling does not verify submitted information. If incorrect data results in extra costs, these may be charged to you. Efteling is not responsible for undelivered or late gift cards due to incorrect addresses. Orders are delivered to the agreed postal or email address. Efteling may deliver an order in multiple shipments unless otherwise agreed.

Delivery via Efteling On-Site
At various locations in the park, you can purchase a physical Efteling Gift Card. It will be loaded with the desired amount and handed over directly.

Delivery via Resellers
When purchasing an Efteling Gift Card through a reseller, these terms and conditions apply in full. Additional conditions of the reseller also apply.

Loss, Theft, Fraud, Misuse or Damage
The Efteling Gift Card is transferable after purchase. Each card (including digital ones) is issued with a unique code provided only once. You must keep this code safe. If the card is lost, stolen or damaged such that the code is unreadable or unusable, it will not be replaced. Lost or expired cards will not be reissued or refunded.

Promotional Use
The Efteling Gift Card is intended for personal use only. It may not be used for commercial or promotional purposes — such as contests, prize draws, loyalty programs or marketing campaigns — without prior written permission from Efteling.

Companies or organisations wishing to use the card in a (marketing) campaign must obtain prior written approval from Efteling for both the campaign and any communication surrounding it. Efteling reserves the right to refuse permission or impose additional conditions without explanation.

Intellectual Property
All copyrights, trademarks, trade names and other intellectual property rights on this website and all content (such as text and images) presented through this website or other communications are owned by Efteling. All rights are reserved. Files (such as text or images) provided by Efteling may only be used for the specific purpose for which they were supplied and may not be reproduced, published, or shared with third parties without prior permission. A digital or print proof must be submitted to Efteling for approval before using these files.

Liability
Efteling strives to provide accurate information via its website but cannot guarantee that all content is correct, complete or up to date, nor that it does not infringe on third-party rights. Efteling is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of this information. Efteling may modify its websites, access to them, and the information provided. It will try to announce maintenance or updates in advance and keep its systems free from harmful software. However, Efteling has the right to take its websites offline without notice when needed for maintenance, updates or protection against viruses or cyberattacks. Efteling is not liable for damage caused by access to or the inability to access its websites. The websites may contain links to other sites for convenience. These are not reviewed by Efteling. Efteling is not responsible for their content or any damage they may cause, unless due to gross negligence or intentional misconduct on Efteling’s part.
