On Tuesday 12 January, the Dutch government announced that the nationwide lockdown will be extended by three weeks.  

This means that venues that are open to the public, including theme parks, must remain closed until 10 February 2021. 

For Efteling Theme Park Resort, this means that the theme park will remain closed until 10 February 2021. The Efteling Hotel and Holiday Village Efteling Loonsche Land will remain closed until 10 February 2021. Holiday Village Efteling Bosrijk will remain open. The Badhuys (indoor splash pool in Efteling Bosrijk) remains closed until 10 February 2021. 

We understand this decision and of course we are taking our responsibility. Only by acting together will we get the coronavirus under control and this is how we, as Efteling, are doing our bit.
