Here, you will feel the rich history of Efteling. Wonderful music can be heard from a grand piano in the middle of the lobby. Almost instinctively, everyone's gaze is drawn upwards to the sparkling chandelier full of floating golden keys. 

Efteling designer and Design & Experience Manager Sander de Bruijn: “The key chandelier in the lobby is some 7.5 metres tall, making it a real eye-catcher in the space. Numerous golden keys float above each other with a twinkling light at the end. Already enchanting during the day, but truly spectacular in the evening.” 

Sander: “If you walk upstairs, you have a beautiful view of the chandelier and the dozens of different keys. For every guest, no matter how old or young, there is a magical key floating around here. And if you look very closely at these keys, you might recognise shapes from the different Efteling realms. There is also a special Efteling Grand Hotel key. You keep wondering which key is for whom and which door it opens. Together, all those keys spark the imagination.”
