“In line with our vision for full immersion, we are looking at the entire area around the park show during this development. The story of Raveleijn is a perfect fit for that,” says Koen Sanders, Director of Product, Market and Image. “By placing the new attraction outside the open-air arena, we’re making the theme area larger. The park show will undergo a complete metamorphosis. That’s why it will be shown more often than ever: several times a day, almost all year round. Live animals will no longer be part of the experience. And in line with our sustainability vision, we’re opting for more environmentally friendly fire effects. Thanks to the new show effects, the Raveleijn show will once again be truly spectacular.”

In the Raveleijn park show, the five riders are currently summoned to the magical city by Halina. There, they undergo training to protect the city in the future. When the evil count Olaf appears with his five-headed Draconicon, the riders must join forces to save Raveleijn. The current show will run until the Christmas holidays. After that, the gates of the magical city will close.

The well-known park show will be completely renewed with a new storyline and impressive show effects, while still featuring the current main characters. Additional elements will be added to the recognisable decor in the open-air arena. We will also expand the food and beverage location and add a souvenir shop. The renewed theme area is expected to open at the end of 2026.

The new, exciting and compact attraction will be built just outside the city walls. It will be a rotating, soaring experience where visitors feel as if they are flying on the wings of ravens. The many smooth motions and tilting movements will create a sense of intensity and excitement, making it a true thrill experience.
