Experience an enchanting summer at Efteling!
08 June 2026It won't be long now until summer at Efteling starts again. The park will have longer opening times, evening tickets, extra live entertainment, and refreshing summertime treats. What can you expect at Efteling this summer?
Open extra long this summer
From Friday July 3 up to and including Sunday August 30, Efteling is open from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. or even 10:00 p.m. This way, you have more time to visit all the fairytales, rollercoasters and family attractions. Check the calendar for the opening times and crowds forecast for your favorite summer day.
Evening tickets
From mid-June, you can also buy a separate evening ticket (€33.00) for the summer season. This ticket is valid from 5:00 p.m. until park closing. Tip: combine your evening ticket with a discount parking ticket. When you buy these tickets together, you'll pay €10.00 for parking instead of €15.00.
New: Efteling Summer Festival
Visit the Efteling Summer Festival at the Speelweide in July and August. All day long there are shows on the big covered stage. Sing and jump along to the best kids' songs played by DJ Donkey. It'll be a party! The Red Noses Boogie Boys give an amazing concert full of sing-alongs. The Big Bad Wolf Band wows everyone with their show and during the funny dance competition Dancing with the Dolls the dolls are really dancing. Princess Pardijn is ready to meet you and she loves taking photos with you.
Lots of brand new live entertainment
Near Baron 1898 and the new free-fall experience Hooghmoed, the Klickers bring all the latest news from the mining area in their own quirky style.
This summer, you can enjoy a new Fairytale Tree show at the open-air theatre in the Fairytale Forest, and later in the day there'll be a culinary Evening with Wolf, featuring all of his favorite snacks. At Fata Morganaplein, the guards perform spectacular stunts, the giant Genie is back again, and this summer you can also meet another well-known character from Fata Morgana for the very first time.
Efteling is buzzing this summer
Of course, there are even more summer favorites. Pardoes will greet you in the morning at the entrance and at Symbolica. You might also bump into the Efteling inhabitants. Jokie and Jet get you dancing at Carnaval Festivalplein and at Ton van de Venplein, the Droomvlucht Fairies are swinging in their Fairy Throne. You can get your face painted there too!
Even more entertainment
Do you like a bit of chaos? Then head over to Max and Moritzplein. The cheerful brass band Anderberg Musikverein is there again, Baker Krümel and Frau Schmetterling are walking around and Max and Moritz are up to their tricks as always. In the Huyverwoud, you might run into the Huyveraars. These mysterious souls wander around near Danse Macabre. Plus the Family Charlatan will put on a show with their magical and dark arts! Come and see Dr. Charlatans Cabaret Macabre, a musical show full of wonderful experiments and bizarre illusions...
Discover the taste of summer
Come try some summer food specials in July and August. At Ton van de Venplein, you can enjoy colorful floats: an ice-cold drink with soft-serve ice cream. Quench your thirst with a matcha & ube at the Efteling Summer Festival on Speelweide, where you can also find goodies like dumplings and ramen! On Fata Morganaplein there’s something for everyone: from exotic Fanta-drinks to fresh fruit dipped in chocolate.
New summer pin series
There are Efteling souvenirs of The Red Noses Boogie Boys to be found this summer, and on hot days the summer fans are really fantastic! And throughout the summer, five pins with summery banners are being released. The pins with EPP numbers 503 to 507 cost €8.50 each (maximum of three pins per person).
