The virtual queue is a digital queue, which means you don't have to wait your turn in a normal queue. That means you still have a wait, but you can use the time to do other things nearby.

Once you are near the attraction, you can sign up for the virtual queue. You can register via the free Efteling app. You immediately see the expected virtual waiting time.

If you use the Efteling app, you will receive a notification when it is your turn. A QR code will appear in the app. This QR code is valid for 15 minutes at the entrance of the attraction.

You can register up to six people for the virtual queue using the Efteling app. If there are more than six people in your group, you can use different phones to register everyone.

You can only sign up for the next available time slot — not a later one. Just like a regular queue, you join immediately, but virtually.

Do I need to use the virtual queue if I have a facility card?

Do I need to use the virtual queue if I have a facility card?

If you have a facility card, you usually report to the special entrance for guests with disabilities and don’t use the virtual queue. However, at Danse Macabre, you can choose to join the virtual queue. In that case, go to the special entrance for virtual queuing and show your QR code and your facility card to the staff member there.
