Payments at Efteling

There are a number of ways to pay at Efteling. Cash is accepted throughout Efteling (with the exception of In den Swarte Kat take-away, 't Speelkwartier take-away and the souvenir stands). The following is an overview of all payment options with credit/debit card or giftcards.

PIN card

There is one cash machine in the park opposite Polle's Keuken restaurant. You can use a PIN card free of charge in many locations, including shops and restaurants. Here you can pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and all Dutch bank cards.

Paying with an Efteling Gift Card

You can redeem your Efteling Gift Card online when purchasing tickets, booking an overnight stay, or paying for an annual pass. Already booked your stay? You can also use your gift card to pay the remaining balance in your Efteling account.

In addition, the gift card can be used anywhere in the World of Efteling where a card terminal is available. Always keep your gift card safe, even after use. If a refund is issued (for example, due to cancellation or changes), the amount will always be returned to the original Efteling Gift Card.

Paying with a VVV Gift Card

Online use for purchasing tickets or stays
It’s not possible to use a VVV Gift Card directly for online purchases via efteling.com. If you’d like to buy tickets or book a stay online, the VVV Gift Card must first be converted into an Efteling Gift Card.

You can easily convert your VVV Gift Card online. Once converted, you can use the Efteling Gift Card to purchase entry tickets or book a stay at one of the Efteling hotels or holiday villages. This way, your VVV Gift Card can still be fully used for online purchases—just via the Efteling Gift Card.

In-park use
You can use the VVV Gift Card in the park. This makes it an ideal card to bring along for a tasty treat, a refreshing drink, or a magical souvenir during your visit.

Paying with another gift card at Efteling

Efteling also accepts the Kids Gift Card, DE Gift Card and the Kids & Teens Card within the park.
