Beneath the Efteling Grand Hotel lies a magical underground world, where a pool and spa await to enchant you—whether you’re in the mood to play or unwind. After a wondrous day in Efteling, it's pure bliss to relax in the whirlpool, steam bath, or sauna, followed by a refreshing ice shower.
The 130 cm deep pool is just right for a revitalising swim or a moment of calm. Suspended above the water is a mysterious marble ornament that occasionally surprises swimmers with playful jets of water. For little ones, there are separate pools: a baby pool just 5 cm deep and a toddler pool just 25 cm deep. A selection of pool toys are also available to borrow.
The spa at the Efteling Grand Hotel is a peaceful oasis, surrounded by fairy-tale elegance. It’s the perfect place to relax completely. Indulge in a visit to the steam bath or sauna, and add a luxurious touch to your stay. Swimwear is required when using the spa facilities. During your stay, you can book a variety of massages at the reception (at an extra charge). Massages are available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
The Pool & Spa features changing rooms, showers, and restrooms with family-friendly facilities. Two baby care and nursing rooms are available for feeding or expressing. Free lockers and towels are provided and flavoured water is available for refreshment.
The Pool & Spa is located in the hotel’s lower level and is exclusively available to guests staying at the Efteling Grand Hotel.

Changing rooms and lockers are available for your belongings. Visiting the Pool & Spa is at your own risk. We recommend leaving valuables in your hotel room. The use of music devices, floatation aids, or other equipment is not allowed.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) in the Pool & Spa. For children without a swimming certificate, arm floaties are required. Forgotten something? No worries—floaties, Puddle Jumpers, and baby floats are available to borrow from staff.
For guests with a physical disability, a pool lift is available. To use it, please let reception know in advance so we can prepare your visit to the Pool & Spa. You must be accompanied by someone who can assist with using the pool lift. The lift has a seat, and you must be able to sit in it independently. The maximum weight for the pool lift is 136 kilograms.
