If you are subscribed to the Efteling Newsletter, you’ll receive a personal discount code around your birthday. This code gives you a one-time discount per ticket for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 Efteling tickets.

When are the tickets valid?

These tickets allow you to visit Efteling during regular opening hours in the month of your birthday, plus the first 15 days of the following month. For example: if your birthday is on the 31st of August, your tickets are valid from the 1st of August until the 15th of September. No exceptions to ticket validity can be made.

The person having their birthday must be present to visit the theme park at a discount. Upon entering Efteling, they will be asked for identification when their tickets are checked to confirm that their date of birth falls into the aforementioned validity period. This promotion is valid for entrance tickets only and cannot be combined with an overnight stay at the Efteling.

Terms and conditions

To receive the discount code, you must be signed up for the Efteling newsletter no later than the last day of the month in which your birthday falls. Your date of birth and/or the dates of birth of your family members (up to 18 years old) must also be linked to your profile by then.

The same offer conditions apply to children under 4 years of age. The only difference is that children under the age of 4 can visit Efteling for free, so all tickets (minimum 2 and maximum 6) can be given to others at a discount. The person whose birthday was used to receive the discount does have to be present on the day of the visit, so a minimum of 3 people (including the birthday boy or girl) should be present to visit Efteling.

When will I receive the discount code?

If you’re already signed up for the Efteling newsletter and have added your date of birth to your Efteling account, you’ll receive your discount code at the end of the month before your birthday. The code will appear in your Efteling account and will also be sent to you via email.

If the above doesn’t apply yet, you can still sign up for the Efteling newsletter and/or add your birth date to your profile until the last day of your birthday month. After doing this, the code will appear in your Efteling account within one day.

Want to visit Efteling with your birthday discount? Then you’ll need a valid admission ticket. Just follow these steps to easily buy your discounted tickets:

• Step 1: Log in to your Efteling account and find your personal discount code. You’ll also find it in the email we sent you.
• Step 2: Purchase the desired number of tickets using the personal discount code.

Please note: Birthday discount tickets are available online only in advance. They cannot be purchased at the Efteling entrance.
