Booking, changes and payment terms and conditions

• To be eligible for the prices for school parties, you have to book in advance due to the available capacity for school trips. Efteling sets a maximum number of school trips per day.
• You can book your visit up to 3 days before your visit date using the booking form (if there is enough availability).
• Your booking must be paid no later than 3 days before the visit date. If you don’t pay in time, your booking will be cancelled automatically.
• As long as you haven’t paid yet, you can change or cancel your booking via your account until 3 days before your visit date. Once you’ve paid, your booking is final. You pay with iDeal, Bancontact or credit card.
• If you want to visit Efteling with more people than you booked for, you can buy up to 20 extra tickets on the day of your visit at Guest Service (at the main entrance) for the same price as your original booking.
• If you visit Efteling with fewer people than you booked for, you aren't entitled to a refund for the tickets.

Visit terms and conditions

• To avoid waiting at the entrance, you'll be allowed to enter Efteling from half an hour after the regular opening time. For example, if the park opens at 10:00 a.m., you can enter from 10:30 a.m.
• The prices for school parties only apply on weekdays.
• The prices for school parties are not valid on Dutch national holidays, during school holidays and other dates set by Efteling. Available dates are shown in the booking form.
• The prices for school parties apply to school groups from compulsory education (day course) with at least 15 paying people from primary, secondary and special needs education.

• For children aged 12 or older from special needs education, the secondary education rate applies.
• School groups from MBO, higher vocational education and college education are only eligible for the school rate if it concerns a day course and can only be booked by authorised staff from that course.
• In Belgium, valid for special needs primary education and special needs secondary education.
• In Germany, valid for Grundschulen, Weiterführende und berufsbildende Schulen.
• In England, valid for primary, secondary and intermediate vocational education.
• For primary education, maximum supervision is 1 adult per 4 children. For secondary education and MBO, it’s 1 per 8. Companions pay the same price as the students. Extra companions pay the group rate. In special needs education, often more supervision is needed. In this case, all companions pay the school rate.
• School trips must be booked by people who are allowed to represent the school.

General terms and conditions

• All listed prices include VAT.
• Admission tickets with the school trip rate are only valid on the date shown. If they are not used on the specified day, they will no longer be valid.
• Food and drink credits are only valid on the specified date. If the amount is not completely used on the specified day, the remaining value expires automatically.
• Admission tickets and parking cards cannot be returned.
• Buses for school trips can be parked for free in the bus car park at Efteling. The rules for this car park apply, including the Dutch Road Traffic Act.
