How to visit the themepark safely during the corona period

Reserve your visit to Efteling

The Efteling gates are open again! We are limiting the number of visitors due to the social distancing guidelines, you will need a valid entrance ticket PLUS a time slot reservation to visit Efteling. Currently, you can only book a time slot up to and including 2th of June. There will be more dates available soon.

Due to corona restrictions, Efteling can only welcome a limited number of visitors every day. To ensure the safety of our visitors and employees, Efteling strictly follows the rules that are set by the National Government and RIVM, concerning the maximum number of visitors in the park. This is why you need a valid entrance ticket as well as a time slot reservation to visit Efteling.

How does it work?

First you have to choose whether you already have tickets or whether you still have to buy (part of) your tickets.
Please indicate how many people are visiting with you. You can make a reservation for a maximum of 8 people from the same household. Children 0-3 years old have free access to the park but need to be included in the reservation.
Then choose a time slot for your arrival at the main entrance. You will only be given access to the park within the reserved time frame so please don't be too early but certainly don't be late.
After your visit to the park, you can make a new reservation for another visit.

On the day of your visit, we would advise you to use your own transport and to avoid using public transport, as much as possible, thereby adhering to the national safety guideliness. Bicycle storage is located adjacent to the main entrance and is free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about reserving your visit

Why can I only buy tickets online and do I need to book a day and time slot? Why can I only buy tickets online and do I need to book a day and time slot?: In order to guarantee the measures recommended by the RIVM, the number of visitors that Efteling can receive every day is capped. Therefore, a visit to Efteling is only possible if you book your day or time slot in advance. You will then have access to the park with your pre-purchased tickets, your annual pass or online tickets.

Am I allowed to access the park if I am a little later than my actual time slot reservation?: Your booking can only be scanned within the period that you reserved. So don't come too early, but certainly not too late! Take into account traffic jams and other unforeseen circumstances. Are you early? Wait at a suitable distance from the entrance or stay in your car. Are you late? Then come to the entrance and keep an appropriate distance. You may have to wait longer than usual.

Can I cancel or change my time slot reservation?: If something unexpected occurs and you are unable to come, you can cancel the booking yourself in the Efteling app. Then it will be released for other visitors. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your booking to another date or another party. It is, of course, possible to make a new booking.

If you wisht to visit Efteling but do not yet have any tickets, choose 'I would like to buy entrance tickets' to buy tickets during your time slot reservation.

We would like to visit Efteling with a group that is a mixture of Annual Pass holders and people with regular entrance tickets. Is it possible to reserve an arrival time slot together? We would like to visit Efteling with a group that is a mixture of Annual Pass holders and people with regular entrance tickets. Is it possible to reserve an arrival time slot together?: Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a single time slot reservation for a mixed group, i.e. when some have an Annual Pass and others have regular entrance tickets. You will need to make two separate time slot reservations and access the park at the specified time of your own time slot.

Unfortunately, there are only a limited number of timeslots available each day. If the timeslot of your choice is already taken you should choose another day to make the most out of your visit.

You should always buy tickets online in advance and book a time slot so that we can receive the limited number of guests safely.
