What is the Efteling gift card?

The Efteling Gift Card is the most enchanting way to surprise someone special. You can choose between a digital card sent by email or a physical gift card. If you order the physical card via efteling.com, it will be delivered to your home by post. The card can be loaded with any amount between €5 and €150. The balance remains valid for 3 years after activation, so there’s no need to worry if there’s still credit left after using it. Please note: gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.

Where can I use the Efteling Gift Card?

You can use the Efteling Gift Card both online and in the World of Efteling. Online, the card can be used to purchase tickets (with the exception of group and school trip tickets), an annual subscription (with yearly payment), to book an overnight stay, or to pay (part of) an open balance in your Efteling account.

In the World of Efteling, you can use the gift card anywhere that accepts card payments. The gift card is not valid at the self-service kiosks at Fabula, the snack walls, online orders in the Efteling app, or for pizza delivery and self-service kiosks at Efteling Bosrijk and Efteling Loonsche Land.

Outside the World of Efteling
You can also buy the physical Efteling Gift Card at various retail locations such as Albert Heijn and Primera.

How do I place an order on Efteling.com?

How do I place an order on Efteling.com?

Ordering a digital and/or physical Efteling Gift Card is as easy as waving a magic wand! Choose the number of cards and the desired amount, add them to your shopping cart, fill in your details and pay securely with iDEAL, Credit Card or Bancontact. The digital gift card will be sent within minutes to the email address provided. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder just in case.

Physical gift cards ordered on working days before 3 p.m. are handed over to PostNL the same day. These cards are not active upon shipment. Delivery usually takes place within three working days, depending on the delivery schedule of PostNL. Once your order has been handed over to PostNL, you’ll receive an activation code by email to activate the cards.

When will I receive my order?

The digital gift card is sent within minutes to the specified email address. Don’t forget to check your spam or junk folder. Physical gift cards ordered before 3 p.m. on working days are handed over to PostNL the same day. They are still inactive at that point. Delivery usually takes up to three working days, depending on PostNL’s delivery schedule. As soon as your order has been handed over, you’ll receive an activation code by email.

Yes, you can! Simply enter the recipient’s email or postal address as the delivery address. Please note that you will still receive the order confirmation and, in the case of a physical gift card, the activation code by email.

The use of the gift card is simple, just hand it over when you pay at the checkout and the amount of the purchase is debited from your card. If the remaining balance is not enough for the purchase, you can pay the rest of the amount with another payment method. An overnight stay at the Efteling Grand Hotel, Efteling Wonder Hotel, Efteling Bosrijk or Efteling Loonsche Land can also be (partially) paid for with the gift card and can be done online when making your booking or afterwards when paying the remaining amount in My Efteling.
