Efteling reopens on 19 May!

On Monday 17 May, the Dutch government announced that the relaxations from step two of the roadmap can take effect on Wednesday, 19 May.

This means that, after a closure of 22 weeks, Efteling Theme Park Resort will open again on Wednesday 19 May. Though the indoor attractions will have to remain closed for a while, this is fantastic news!

We are of course very happy with the news that we are able to welcome guests again soon. We are ready and our staff is eager to get back to work.

We believe that with the current corona measures in place, we can offer a safe day out, as we did for most of 2020.

Efteling is a large nature park with lots of outdoor space. The park has adopted all the measures in accordance with the guidelines of the protocol that was drawn up by industry associations Club van Elf and the Dutch Association of Zoos.

Guests are requested to follow the travel and safety instructions of their country of residence before planning their visit.
If they are in the theme park or our overnight accommodations, the measures of the official regional authorities apply.
