Efteling Hotel launches brand new themed family suite

The Droomvlucht Suite pays homage to the beloved theme park ride and is host to plenty of magical features

January 2024 Efteling Hotel, Dutch fairytale theme park Efteling’s hotel accommodation, has launched its first new themed suite since 2016. The Droomvlucht Suite, which has been inspired by the eponymous ride, is packed with enchanting details for theme park enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy, with charming interiors and a host of fantastic amenities.

The brand-new five-person suite, the first new addition to the hotel’s beloved fairy-tale-inspired suites in almost a decade, includes a romantic double four-poster bed, fun expandable bunk beds with a magical hidden sleeping area. The suite also includes plenty of bewitching design features for families to fully experience the floral world of Droomvlucht, one of Efteling’s most treasured attractions. The suite also includes a private bathroom with a double rain shower, Nespresso coffee maker and handy mini fridge for a comfortable stay for all ages.

Efteling Hotel provides a magical stay for its visitors, with fun and entertainment on offer throughout for the whole family. From the indoor castle-themed play area to visits from the friendly Efteling character Pardoes, there’s plenty to keep little ones entertained. Guests can also enjoy a unique dining experience in the hotel’s onsite bar Gelagkamer, or indulge in a delicious meal at Hoffelijke Heraut restaurant which serves delectable fairy-tale inspired meals for unforgettable family memories. The hotel is walking distance from one of the park’s entrances, where overnight guests can access the park half an hour before day visitors.

How to get there

Easily accessible from the UK, Efteling sits an hour from Amsterdam. Visitors can take the Eurostar to either Rotterdam or Amsterdam, fly to Amsterdam Schipol or Eindhoven Airport, or drive to the Netherlands via the Eurotunnel. Regular trains run to the nearby den Bosch station, as well as a regular bus service and taxis directly to the park.
