Enjoy Long Summer Days – and Nights - at Efteling
With summer just around the corner families are turning their minds to where they can enjoy the warm days and how best to keep the kids amused! With Efteling the whole family is catered for and in summer the fairytale theme park in the south of Holland maximises the long daylight hours with extended opening hours and increased entertainment.
This year there will be five themed squares each devoted to delivering a bespoke experience to visitors. For 2023, two new squares will join the existing three adding a Summer Beach and Ruigrijk Plein area to the park for visitors to explore.
Joining the already popular Fata Morgana Plein, Max & Moritz Plein and Ton van de Ven Plein the Summer Beach will offer a beach-vibe experience with seating for relaxing in, sandcastle building, summer music and shows with popular Efteling characters Jokie and Jet. A perfect space to relax and soak up the sun the Summer Beach will also offer food and drinks so will be the ideal place to take a break from the fun-packed rides and experiences.
In Ruigrijk, where adventure and adrenaline come together, the new entertainment will feature experiments related to the rides and the chance for visitors to hear their scream included in the new Ruigrijk music remix!
Summer Efteling will run from the 30th June until the 3rd September. During that time the park will be open from 10am and have extended evening hours closing at 10pm on most days and 9pm on all other days. There is also the option to buy an evening ticket for 27 Euros offering the chance for visitors to enjoy the park by night from 6pm till close.
In addition to Summer Beach and Ruigrijk Plein kids will love the chance to have their face painted and dress up as a fairy in the Ton van de Ven Plein and listen to the traditional brass band in the Max & Moritz Plein as the naughty pranksters Max and Moritz get up to their usual antics.
Efteling is located just an hour from Amsterdam, and is easily reachable by train, plane or ferry from the UK.
On-site accommodation is available with three options – Efteling Hotel, Efteling Loonsche Land and Efteling Bosrijk. Park entry is included in the rates.
