Symbolica update: Palace of Fantasy will open in seven weeks
Arrangements of outside spaces and show programming in full swing
The construction of Efteling’s newest attraction, Symbolica: Palace of Fantasy, is almost complete. The palace is being built in honour of the 65th jubilee of the theme park, and will open its doors to the public on Saturday 1 July. In the new episode, it shows that the landscaping around the attraction plays an important role. The planting and the gardens around the palace have an evergreen character. Apart from that, the access gate to the attraction, the magical fountains on the forecourt and the roof garden of Symbolica have a regal character, which gives the palace and its surroundings even more allure.
Inside the attraction, specialists are busy programming the show. All technology, sounds, lights and effects must be fine-tuned with great accuracy in advance, so visitors in the Fantasy Carriages will get to enjoy the ultimate experience in each and every scene.
