New spectacular water show Efteling Symphonica experiences wondrous premiere

Yesterday, the new Aquanura show 'Efteling Symphonica' came to life for the first time after Little Red Riding Hood opened the fairy tale book. Efteling's famous water show has undergone a complete metamorphosis in recent months. The fire effects, and thus the use of propane, have been removed which is another great step towards the park’s sustainability goals. The impressive “Beacons of Light”, with brand-new lighting effects, paired with never-before-heard piece of music makes it a completely renewed experience. Yesterday evening, the impressive water show was unveiled to visitors, stakeholders and media for the first time. Efteling Symphonica will now provide a spectacular time-travelling conclusion to every visit to Efteling.

Total new experience

“We are extremely happy with this final result. It is very special to experience a premiere together with our visitors, because those reactions are most important to us,” says Koen Sanders, Director of Product, Market and Image. “We want to keep innovating for both day guests and overnight guests. In addition, we are taking another step in the right direction of the Efteling's climate objective by removing the fire effects from the show. We want to be climate-neutral in 2030 and the use of such a show effect no longer fits in with that. With the addition of the Beacons of Light, a new piece of music and new show effects, we have realised a totally new experience.”
