Enormous antlers reach the highest point of new holiday village Efteling Loonsche Land

On the building site of the new Efteling holiday village in the south of Holland, it was time to celebrate today. In the presence of the most important partners Bouwbedrijf Pennings, Gubbels, Vervoort Meubelen, Vastgoedbureau DVP and Brouwers Groenaannemers, they celebrated the unveiling of an enormous pair of antlers. The first guests to stay at the new holiday village on the edge of the nature district Loonsche Land will start arriving on Wednesday 31st May 2017, which is also the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Efteling.

The antlers were placed on the Loonsche Land Hotel, which has five stories and is 87 feet high. The antlers are 13 feet tall as well as across and can easily be seen from anywhere within the holiday village, which covers more than eight hectares. The antlers weigh about 110 stone and match the robust and natural character of the hotel. The Loonsche Land Hotel boasts 75 hotel rooms and a large restaurant, called De Proeftuyn. There are another 86 unique places to stay spread throughout the park, above, on top of or under the ground .
