Efteling opens themed pancake restaurant Polle’s Kitchen

Polle’s Kitchen is a themed pancake restaurant where Efteling visitors can follow the chefs’ every move. They can try one of 21 delicious pancakes made, while the unique musical stove in the centre of Polle’s Kitchen provides a steamy show. And somewhere in the Barrel Bar is a tap filled with magic water. All this makes a visit to Polle's Kitchen a special event. The pancake restaurant offers seating for around 170 diners inside, and another 190 outside, of whom 54 on a covered and heated terrace. The restaurant also has three dispensing points for coffee, ice cream and doughnuts. With its Symbolican design, Polle’s Kitchen represents the first phase in the construction of the new Fantasy Realm. With its 12.65-metre tower, it will be a real eye catcher and a new addition to the park’s range of catering outlets.

Symbolican design

With the arrival of Polle’s Kitchen, Efteling visitors will be presented with yet another piece of unique design: fairytale-like architecture with fantasy-filled elements, such as thatched roofs, a large amount of copper and a huge pearl on top of the chimney. Because the copper panels on the roof reflect sunlight, it will seem as though the sun is always shining. Polle is the chef’s assistant in the palace kitchen and a friend of Pardoes.
