Baby seats on the Python roller coaster is April Fools' Day joke

Efteling wanted to use this joke to fool people for a while, and it did. Announcing something which is totally out of character for Efteling attracts attention. Safety is, of course, the Number 1 priority for Efteling. And the same goes for Maxi-Cosi. Efteling does everything it can to offer visitors a carefree day out. Naturally, that includes a completely safe park. For both Efteling and Maxi-Cosi, safety is incredibly important. We have played this early April Fools' Day joke only to emphasise that again.
