Press policy

Efteling, situated in the south of the Netherlands, is open all year round and often used as a background for media shootings, both in summer and in winter. Having various accommodations for overnight stays, a theatre, a golf course, several event locations and lots of attractions, it has everything at your fingertips for enchanting shots!

Permission
Would you like to shoot your films in Efteling? Please keep in mind that this often takes some preparation time and that shooting professional videos and making professional sound recordings are only allowed after having obtained written permission. Please send an email to the Communication & PR department at jules@wearelotus.co.uk. Your request will be processed and replied to as soon as possible.

Requests for interviews and requests for visual materials will also be processed by the Communication & PR department.

Accompaniment
Efteling Theme Park Resort is a very special world. It is full of inhabitants of the Fairytale Forest, guests from all over the world and popular attractions. We know this world inside out. That is why we personally accompany all camera crews and photographers. We show them the way, advise them on suitable locations and know in which attractions you are allowed to shoot your film, for instance with a GoPro.

Visits
If you have an official press card, you can visit Efteling whenever you want - for free. Please report to the Visitors' service centre (at the left of the main entrance). We will ask you to fill in a registration form which includes the reason for your visit is allows us to send you additional information and find out whether your visit lived up to your expectations.

Publications and copyright
The Efteling visual materials, sound recordings and logos have been designed for specific purposes, of which Efteling holds the copyrights. They may not be reproduced and/or published (for example, via the internet, printing, photocopying, microfilm, etc.) without our previous written consent. They may also not be used for commercial purposes.
