Cinderella

Cinderella

Cinderella lived in a big house with her father, wicked stepmother and her two ugly sisters. Cinderella would cook and clean for them from dawn till dusk and would never be allowed any time off. Then one day, an invitation arrived for a grand ball at the palace. Cinderella really wanted to go as well, she was not allowed to. When her two ugly sisters left for the ball, a bright light appeared all of a sudden. Cinderella’s fairy godmother had arrived to magic up a beautiful carriage, six white horses, a coachman and six handsome footmen. Then the fairy godmother waved her magic wand one last time and conjured up a magnificent ball gown and exquisite glass slippers for Cinderella, and sent her to the ball. As she left, the fairy godmother warned her: “Remember that once the clock has struck midnight, the spell will be broken.”
Everyone thought she was a princess when she arrived at the palace. The prince danced with her all evening until Cinderella realised the clock was striking twelve. She ran out of the palace and down the steps, losing one of her glass slippers as she ran. But would the prince ever be able to find his Cinderella again?
